You don't necessarily have to fly all the way to the Caribbean for a beautiful sailing trip. Often the most beautiful places are right on our doorstep, we just don't notice them. The Baltic and North Seas offer impressive coasts and beautiful harbours. The coast of the North Sea measures a good 150 km.
The average depth of the North Sea is about 93 metres. n Shetland Islands. The deepest point of the North Sea is the so-called Norwegian Channel, which is 725 metres deep.
Typical Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild but stormy winters. The best time to visit is during the summer months, when the island enjoys up to 11 hours of sunshine per day. Rain is very rare then. The wind is usually breezy, from 1 to 6 knots during the summer months and up to 15 knots in the winter time.
